I used tens units forever in college/professional athletics. always had the kind with manual knobs. This was my first time using the rechargable unit. Other than being rechargeable, I don't really like the other features of it.
For instance
- if I am running a program, and change modes, it resets the intensity to zero, not the case on the knob models. sometimes I want a changeup
- it beeps with literally every button push. sometimes I use before bed and the beeping is quite loud, no disabling beeps, no changing volume. I'd like that to be configurable so I don't wake my wife
- the light is very bright, can be a bit jarring if using in the dark (not the end of the world, maybe a
It also was annoying that the website has no link for the rechargable units Manual, only the classic (non-rechargeable)
I love the larger pads for better coverage of larger muscle groups
Really helps with pain in neck after fusion surgery. This is the second unit I have had. The first one stopped working, so I called the company and they replaced it with an upgraded model for free. I really like it.
I have only had the unit a couple of days and so far have used it every day sense then. It works amazing and takes the pain away in my thigh after having hip surgery I lost so much muscle in my leg and it hurts so bad most days since I started using the unit my pain is nearly gone. I dish you made bigger pads to cover more area and the pads I got with my unit are not very sticky so unfortunately I’ll have to buy more rather quickly which is kind of upsetting
