I had spinal fusion back surgery and my first bout of physical therapy consisted of exercises which did very little for me. I changed therapists who uses back massage and TENS therapy with home exercises and my response to this therapy was immediate improvement. I had an old home TENS unit that did next to nothing--must have been worn out but it made me leery when I started looking for a new TENS. I read reviews on TENS 7000 and decided to take a chance. First of all, the unit is well and cleverly constructed. It guards against accidentally increasing the power by covering the adjustment knobs. The unit is pocket sized but packs a punch with intensity levels comparable to the commercial TENS unit used by the therapist. I was going to take the unit to the therapist for instruction on how to use it when TENS emailed me a cheat sheet that explains everything including pads placement. I am still experimenting with it but I can already tell--this unit is a KEEPER. Highly recommended.
I’m stunned at how well this works and how much difference it’s made for me. I have a meniscus root tear on the back of my right knee (waiting for surgery), and the pain has been so bad over the last few weeks that I can barely walk. But with the TENS hooked up around my knee, I can actually walk PAIN FREE! I didn’t think anything like that was even possible. Thank you, TENS!
I bought the Tens 7000 unit to address my neck and back pain. It's incredibly soothing, similar to a deep tissue massage. I simply clip it to my waist and proceed with my day-to-day activities. It's just wonderful!
Having to wait months to be seen by a doctor. This has helped with the pain.
I wanted to keep my electrodes flat and this works well for that.
